March Favourites

Marisa Robinson Makeup Artist March Favourites

It's that time again! Time for me to rave about my March faves!

Zoeva Luxe Smoky Shader Brush #234
Last month I visited Sephora at Macquarie Centre in hope to get the much loved Zoeva Rose Gold Eye Set. Unfortunately they had sold out but I wasn't about to leave empty handed so I grabbed the Zoeva Luxe Smoky Shader Brush and I am so glad I did! The soft bristles pick up my favourite shadows and perfectly pack it onto my eyelids and is also great for smoking out my lower lash line. If you are in the market for new makeup brushes, I strongly suggest Zoeva - they will change your {makeup} life!

Nivea 3 in 1 Sensitive Micellar Water
Micellar water has revolutionised the way we remove makeup and I am really enjoying the Nivea 3 in 1 Sensitive Skin formula. I simply decant some onto a clean cotton pad and hold it on my eyes and face and gently wipe away revealing makeup free, cleansed skin. I also find it really helpful when applied to a cotton tip to tidy up any unwanted makeup (e.g. remove lipstick without removing your base) or create precise lines, especially around the eyes.

Anastasia Beverly Hills 'Gleam' Glow Kit
This kit is a must have for creating the ultimate highlight! I bought both the 'Glow' and 'Gleam' palettes but this month I found myself reaching for the 'Gleam' kit every time I did my makeup last month! The palette contains 4 metallic powder highlighters in warm and cool shades and I love mixing 'Starburst' and 'Crushed Pearl' to dust over my cheekbones and cupids bow for the perfect highlight!

Becca Backlight Priming Filter
Summer might be over but I am determined to shine all year round thanks to the Becca Backlight Priming Filter! This highly pigmented primer is gorgeous worn solo for a sun-kissed glow or mixed with your favourite foundation for a subtle shine. I also like to lightly pat some over my foundation on the high points of my face for a dewy glow.

Maybelline EyeStudio Lasting Drama Gel Pot Liner
I love a sharp, winged eye line but sometimes I just don't have the patience or time to guarantee I will get both of my eyes on point! But after seeing so many beauty vloggers use the Maybelline EyeStudio Gel Pot Liner to create the perfect wing I knew I had to try it! THIS has changed my eye line game! The creamy gel formula glides on and gives me more control than liquid liner ever has and I like to use the Anastasia Beverly Hills #3 Brush to create fine and precise lines.

Fave March App: VSCO
I have been a fan of this app for a long time but I have been using it a lot more lately to capture my makeup flat lays. With an amazing library of filters to create different photo finishes and the ability to custom edit your fave pics, this is my go to app for professional looking pics!
