My Favourite Sheet + Face Masks
Sheet Masks are not only great for your skin but they are the perfect way to unwind.
Whenever I want to have some me time there is always a sheet mask on the menu - they are so soothing and the perfect way to sit back and relax.
In this blog post I am going to share my top 5 favourite sheet and face masks I am loving right now.
With their lace design Trefiel are the ultimate glam sheet mask. These plant based face masks are available in 4 different types: Brightening, Firming, Repairing and Moisturising and are suitable for all skin types while also targeting particular skin concerns. They come in two halves so you apply the top then the bottom so they overlap and cover the whole face then it is selfie time! These masks are so insta-worthy!
My Pick: The New You Pack $32.95* - This pack is perfect for first timers as you get 1 of each mask type so you can try the range and see which ones you like most.
Skin Republic has the most amazing range of sheet masks! From the face to your feet they have a mask to target almost every part of your body. Their range of masks are dermatologically tested and are not tested on animals. I also love how affordable and accessible they are
My Pick: Gold Hydrogel Mask $12.99* - when my skin needs an instant boost of hydration this is the mask I reach for as it is rich in antioxidants, minerals and plant extracts to help promote natural Collagen levels.
I haven't tried much from popular Korean skin care brand Dr.Jart+ but when I saw their new Rubber Masks at the Sephora Brand Showcase I was intrigued and couldn't wait to try them out. This two step system includes the rubber mask and the highly concentrated ampoule serum in a separate sachet which you apply to the face before applying the two piece rubber mask over the top for 30-40 minutes. The rubber mask is designed to prevent active ingredients from evaporating for a more complete penetration into the skin.
My Pick: Moist Lover Rubber Mask (coming soon to Sephora Australia)* - I absolutely love this face mask concept. When the serum and rubber mask is applied it immediately soothes the skin and the Moist Wrapping Rubber Mask has marine moisturising ingredients such as green algae, sea lettuce and chlorella to deeply hydrate and nourish the skin while the rubber mask technology locks the moisture in.
Erno Laszlo has such amazing skincare products. I love their cleansing bars and oils so of course the next step is to replenish the skins moisture with one of their hydrogel masks.
My Pick: Erno Laszlo Soothe & Calm Hyrdrogel Mask $25.00* - I am wearing this mask as I write this post and not only does my skin feel super hydrated as it works its magic but the rose oil and honeysuckle extract smells divine, definitely soothing and calming! I love that the mask comes with a front and back film so the gel is locked in and it also makes application easy as you can remove the back film, position the mask and then remove the front film so it is perfectly in place. After 20 minutes I remove the mask and gently pat the remaining serum onto the skin. It is such a beautiful formula and does not feel heavy or sticky, just hydrating and nourishing.
I don't think I have ever walked out of a Sephora store without picking up one of their amazing and affordable face, eye or sleep masks. They are always placed strategically near the counter and they just know I can't resist them, especially with all the amazing flavours.
My Pick: Sephora Avocado Face Mask* - I love masks which deeply nourish and moisturise the skin and the Sephora Avocado Mask is a must have! The mask is enriched with natural avocado oil made in France and works deeply into the skin for soft, supple skin. This is a one piece mask which has slits into the sides so it can fit comfortably on your face.
Which face masks do you love and can't live without?
