Jess' Bridal Party // August 2015
I love nothing more than contributing to someones special day and this gorgeous bridal party was such a pleasure to work with.
It was fun collaborating with good friend and fellow MUA Shazeena to make up these natural beauties for Jess' big day!
I was team bridesmaids and the brief was flawless but not too heavy, a pretty look that would last the whole day.
Each girl had different skin types, tones and requirements but we made them up in great time and equipped them with any essentials they might need for touch ups during the day.
If these pictures are any indication the day was perfection and the girls looked beautiful!
Gabdala SS15 Photoshoot // Wanda Beach Cronulla, 20th August 2015
Gabdala is the fusion of fashion, fitness, family and love. This Australian activewear company is both functional, fashionable and made from superior fabrics to create a perfect fit.
So I was super excited when founder and friend Lizzie asked me to do the makeup for the Gabdala SS15 campaign shoot.
The location was Wanda Beach, Cronulla kicking off at sunrise so I knew I needed to create a bronzed, flawless, dewy glow for the skin and add a fun pop of colour to tie the look back to the neon garments.
The orange liquid eyeliner complemented the styles perfectly and for the lip I kept it simple with a coral lip pencil with a clear gloss on top to add some shine.
Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia // Raffles International Showcase, 16th April 2015
I was lucky enough to work with leading makeup artist Chisato Chris Arai and her team to do makeup for the Raffles International Showcase at MBFWA.
The look was natural and dewy with strong highlights and a subtle contour on the cheeks and eyes. It was all about a full, strong brow and bare lip which complemented the designs beautifully.
To achieve the dewy skin I used a generous amount of MAC Mineralize Charged Water Moisture Gel for the base and then primed with Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Pearl. For foundation I mixed a small amount of MAC Mineralize Moisture with the moisture gel and skin perfector and applied lightly to the face. To highlight the tops of the cheekbones, brow bone and cupids bow I used the NARS Illuminator in Copacobana.
Victoria // Engagement Party
I had the pleasure of doing Victoria's makeup for her sisters engagement party.
She was wearing a purple/pink/blue floral dress and wanted to have some of the same shades used in her makeup look.
Victoria is the perfect MAC NC15 and I used the Studio Fix Foundation along with a pressed powder to create a flawless base.
For the eyes I used some soft pink, mauve and pearl shadows and I finished off the look with Victoria's signature winged liquid eyeliner and a set of half lashes to enhance the look.
To make the look pop I added a bold lip and highlighted the top of the cheekbones, cupids bow and brow bone.
